Collapsible Bone Chopsticks

Description: These diminutive collapsible chopsticks slip out of a small wood box with hand-painted brown and gold bamboo design. The two-piece chopsticks consist of bone tips, which slide into the hollow brown enameled-metal ends, using friction to stay elongated until pushed to retract. Painted band on the metal portion are mismatched shades of brown; the bone portion of one also bows slightly, but is still functional. Length: 17 cm (9 cm folded). Nationality: Japanese.
