June, 1998 Acquisitions

Last Updated 1998-12-14

I've been in constant contact with my 'pen-pal,' Amber Dorko Stopper, since January, and hope to return soon to Philadelphia to visit and see a shop there I missed on the last trip.

A mixed blessing this month: a business meeting in New York ended-up shot to hell because of wicked delays at the airport (3 hours!). Thus, when I got to town, I had plenty of free time to walk all the way from 54th street (5th Avenue, again - I love this place!) down to Canal (In a jacket, tie and 90-degree heat wave!), during which I picked-up a few items on the way. I had a swell time at my favorite TriBeCa burrito bar while I was there, waiting-out a furious thunderstorm.

I'll also be at MacWorld in NYC next month (okay, maybe I'm not all that upset that it's not in Boston anymore), so I'll be sure to bring back new items!

In the meantime, here are a few chopsticks I've added this month.
